HOW IT WORKS
Cranberry has been traditionally used for centuries to support the urinary system. Some studies reveal that compounds in cranberry juice may support the body's healthy action against bacteria in the urinary tract. Buchu leaf, a shrub native to South Africa, is part of this unique formula because of its historical reference as "woman's best friend."

THE STORY BEHIND CRANBERRY & BUCHU CONCENTRATE
Much more than a Thanksgiving dinner accoutrement, cranberry ironically derives its name from the Pilgrims. They felt that its small, pink blossoms resembled the head of a Sandhill crane. Native to North America, cranberries now grow on nearly 60,000 acres of farmland spanning the United States, Canada and Chile.
First cultivated in 1816, cranberries can only grow under a special combination of circumstances, but once growing, an undamaged vine can live for centuries! Native Americans used cranberries to support the bladder and kidneys, while early settlers used it to treat stomach issues, blood disorders and scurvy.
Dutch settlers in South Africa adopted the use of buchu from the natives who had been using it for hundreds of years for urinary health, as a deodorant and an insect repellant. It was later introduced to the pharmaceutical industry in the UK, and it is now used to support digestive and urinary health. Buchu oil is used as a flavoring and in perfumes.
